Fix the Ladder
I'm the leader of a fairly decent guild. No, I'm not here to say that my guild deserves to be Rank 1 because we're so good. In fact, I would be glad to be Rank 500. But regardless, the ladder matching needs to be fixed, and soon.
After the reset, my guild did not do anything for a few days. So we get a team together tonight, still Unranked, and we start up. The first guild we face is Rank 27. The second guild we face is around 150. The third guild is Rank 17. The first time is somewhat understandable, but at the second one our rank was nearing 1,000, and the third we were past 1,800. There are no circumstances in which guilds of those ranks should battle each other, and the fact that we got matched means that the guild starts off with a much lower Rating than we should, a much lower Rank than we deserve, and three losses on the record that will be there all season.
There needs to be a limitation on the ladder matchings. Maybe 100 ranks, maybe 500, but enough that the guilds are actually comparable in skill.
